Lets start at the beginning...

Although I'm a first time mom, I was a nanny for the better part of 12 years. I mean, you name it, I've seen it.

I started writing in a book about all of my experiences as an official (we'll circle back to this) first time mom. Everything from my experience during pregnancy, my hospital stay and then (of course) all things Savanah that I want to remember. And one day at work (when I was a waitress) I was speaking to another first time mom about some of those experiences and I started realize from the pale white expression on her face that she wasn't expecting what I was telling her despite reading all of those "What to Expect When You're Expecting" books. I will also note that this whole conversation had taken place while I was wirelessly pumping (which ultimately lead to an overflow and eventually waterfall, down into my jeans. I do not recommend losing track of time while pumping.

Moving right along, welcome my memoirs as a mommy. I'd love to help other moms (first time or not) with navigating this wild ride I call motherhood. I'd love to hear how you other moms are surviving this beautiful rollercoaster ride.
